Company Bio
Rianne White is an award-winning Scottish film director. Over the last decade, she grew up in Edinburgh and studied choreography at Falmouth University, where she taught herself filmmaking through the lens of physicality, and how the body and movement enable a transformative perspective into cinema. This unique approach led her to pursue passion projects and develop a deep love for creating music videos.
Her portfolio includes work with artists such as Ellie Goulding, Young Fathers, Aurora, and The Proclaimers. Her films have been showcased at festivals around the world, including Raindance, Atlanta Film Festival, Denver Film Festival, Cleveland Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Byron Bay Film Festival, CICFF, Manchester Film Festival, and more.
During this time, she also choreographed for the TV series Outlander and the short film Nevada by Ruth Paxton, commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society alongside her own practice.
Empowered by Scotland’s vibrant energy, Rianne has collaborated on impactful projects, including the nationwide campaign United to Prevent Suicide and the commissioned short film “Sugar For Your Tea” with Kayus Bankole, as part of Underbelly’s “Message From The Skies.” Her work consistently explores the ever-evolving resilience within identity and the need for connection with our people, planet, and inner worlds.
Recently, she has expanded her creative horizons by working with Hugo Boss on global fashion campaigns, including HUGO x Bella Poarch and HUGO x F1. These ventures mark a new chapter in her career as she explores longer-form projects.
