TikTok Event & BTS Videographer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and energetic TikTok Event & BTS Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, a deep understanding of TikTok trends, and the technical skills to capture and edit engaging content. You will be responsible for filming and producing high-quality event coverage and behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage that aligns with our brand’s voice and resonates with our audience on TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coverage: Attend various events (e.g., launches, conferences, parties) to film dynamic, real-time content for TikTok. Capture key moments, audience interactions, and the overall atmosphere.
• Behind-the-Scenes (BTS) Content: Create engaging BTS content that showcases the preparation, creativity, and team effort behind our events and projects. This includes filming candid moments, interviews, and setup processes.
• TikTok Video Production: Edit and produce short-form videos optimized for TikTok, including cutting clips, adding captions, music, effects, and other relevant features to enhance the content.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, challenges, and viral content to ensure our videos remain current and engaging. Incorporate popular trends and sounds into event and BTS content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, social media, and event teams to ensure video content aligns with our overall branding strategy. Collaborate with other videographers, photographers, and content creators as needed.
• Content Planning: Assist in the planning and creative brainstorming for upcoming events and projects, providing insights on how to capture and present them in a compelling way on TikTok.
• Equipment Management: Manage and maintain videography equipment, ensuring all gear is in working order and ready for shoots. Recommend any necessary upgrades or additional equipment to enhance video quality.
• Post-Production: Handle post-production tasks such as video editing, color grading, sound mixing, and adding graphics or animations as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, especially on TikTok or similar platforms.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), and knowledgeable in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
• Creativity: A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to capturing and editing videos. Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Social Media Savvy: In-depth understanding of TikTok’s platform, including its algorithms, trends, and content strategies. Experience creating content specifically tailored for TikTok.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced environments, often with tight deadlines. Flexible and able to adjust to last-minute changes in event schedules or content needs.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Comfortable directing on-camera talent and interacting with event attendees.
• Portfolio: A portfolio or examples of TikTok videos and BTS content is required.
